Default how can i remove linux partition?


how can i remove linux partition?
its delete using disk management?

my friend says that when he delete linux partition using disk management
then it lossed all his partition?

u should not have a prob removin it thru disk management

mind u u need to remove the GRUB from the MBR also
u can do it by the fixmbr command in the XP boot disk

You can remove it using Disk Management. But after that you have to boot from XP Installation CD in Recovery Console mode to restore the Boot sector.
Once you boot in Recovery Console, run the fixmbr command. Syntax given here:

1. repair your mbr.....boot from winxp cd, goto repair and type fixmbr. Check if you grub vanishes and windows appears.
2. Now goto disk management and remove the linx paritions.
3. format these partitions and give them names like d,e,f etc.
