Default Problem in Installing SUSE Linux pro 10


My monitor is not in the list . It is samsung syncmaster 753 s . I tried similar ones but no result, screen goes blank. Also what is the correct resolution to be given?

Try Manual settings as below.

Horizontal Frequency - 30-70 kHz
Vertical Frequency - 50 - 160 Hz
Maximum Resolution - 1280 x 1024 @ 65Hz

@ author - choose the generic/general type of monitor, install and then follow what Desertwind has said

Yikes!! It's my monitor..
Just scroll down the list in the monitor section and select
Samsung SyncMaster 753 (DF) Magic SyncMaster
Make Sure that Horizsync 30-70 and vertrefresh 50-160 in the /etc/X11/xorg.conf File.
Rest will fall in it's place automatically..
