Now, this tells that they are using Windows 2003 server only,

Microsoft is known to use Bind on FreeBSD for their DNS load balancers. But this i old info i had. They might have switched to third party DNS load balancing providers.

DNS is such a vital thing, MS cannot trust their own DNS server software
