hi
is there anyone having c or c++ compiler programming language latest version knowlwdge? what is latest c/c++ latest version and where it is available on net freely..........
do u have any c/c++ project or large program source code..............

Sounuji,in gnu/Linux u can get a nice IDE for C/C++ devel.its called Anjuta uses gcc.you can get rpms for your distributions..

I'am using eclipse for sometime now, i can develop c, c++ and java using it. One Soln fits all. By the way kdevelop is also good. Some say that it was also one of the successes that boosted the kde team.

Eclipse is very slow in Fedora core 4.I prefer Ajunta it was included in PCQlinux 2004...

Eclipse crashes the whole system a lot, it is very heavy in resources, and it mess up all my java configuration.

Eclipse uses a lot of resources while start up, that's why so many crashes, it happened to me too when i had 512 MB ram, but now it's ok. May be why don't we try increasing the swap.

I have 1 GB RAM and 1.5 GB swap. Still it crashes a lot. I stopped using it ages ago.

In Windows it takes a bit time to start but never crashes like in FC4
