Have u tried PCLinuxOS? How do I get my dataone to work?

Has anyone here tried PCLinuxOS? It comes bundled with all multimedia codecs (including mp3, realplayer, even w32codecs!!) plus java, flash. Using its livecd I could play EVERY media file on my PC!!! Even region-free DVDS! But for encrypted DVDs u only need libdvdcss2 and ur done. It looks awesome too! It also comes with a dvdripper and uses Synaptic for rpms.

Has anyone tried it? If yes, can anyone plzzzzzzzzzzzzzz help me to get my dataone broadband to work in it?

I got Preview 9 from my cousin when he came to india from US. Right now I'm downloading its latest version 0.92 with my dataone broadband connection 8) Has anyone here downloaded any distros with their broadband connection? So far I've downloaded Ubuntu breezy, kubuntu breezy, edubuntu breezy, bioknoppix, kanotix-lite, damnsmalllinux, puppy linux and slax!! :roll:

Do u know why? Bcoz the last bill came to Rs.6000 so Papa will be getting the connection removed (he's not paying the bill, they'll disconnect anytime!) so I'm downloading things madly to my hearts content 8) But guess what? They still havent disconnected it! I think unhe khushfaimi hai ke we will pay the bill

But plz help me with my internet connection in PCLinuxOS if u know

i searched using google n found that its based on Mandr(ake/iva) there is rp-pppoe in this distro..so u can set dataone connxn with some 'ppp' config tools like rp-pppoe-gui....or try CLI,as i dont use pcl os i don have any idea what s the config tool name....
