Default Mount NTFS in Ubuntu


Please help me to mount Windows NTFS file system in Ubuntu 5.04. And also suggest how can i set it automatically mount the partision on start up

edit the fstab as root.
If your partition is hda6 then create a mount point eg /mnt/wine

add the following line to your fstab

/dev/hda6 /mnt/wine nfts umask=000 0 0

No its not possible to write on to NFTS partitions.
