Default internal modem in redhat 9


Will someone help me how to configure the internal modem in redhat9.
I have a conexant softk56 modem but the os does not detect it

linux doesnt work with internal modems

there may be drivers for ur int.modem availble in web get the source compile and install it.also u may need a package called minicom...best of Lux
