Mp3 decoder in Fedora Core4

Hi all,

Fedora Core 4 have no mp3 decoder in any of the four installation cds....to play mp3 songs you have to download the decoder. It also cant play VCD, is that correct. I recently installed FC4.....but can't play mp3 and VCDs, is my installation faulty or I've to download the decoder.

for mp3 support in rhythmbox

$ yum install gstreamer-plugins-mp3

for mp3 support in xmms

$ yum install xmms-mp3

for playing vcd download and install any of the following players.

Mplayer
Xine
Amarok
VLC
