Civ III in linux

hi,

i have been wanting to shift over from windows to linux recently. the only thing stopping me is that i would not be able to play my fav. CIV III : Complete Edition in linux. i have read that its possible to run that using WineX or something called Cedega, but that info is very old.

i was wondering if somebody could give me an update on this issue?

I havent played CIII on gnu/Linux yet. I do have a cedega subscription, and i do play some games like Mafia using it. Working real fine.
