Default how to use windows applications in knoppix ?

1) how to use windows applications in knoppix ?

2) also i have a .inf file which contains the info of my modem driver
i know i can use this file to install the modem in windows but how can i install the modem using this file in linux (knoppix) ?

no you can't install a driver of windows into linux i think so bcoz drivers are written to suite the kernel, os variables etc. so get d drivers from the net

Vmware

u can use it to install windows in linux or the other way round,

I have created a virtual machine in my windows, and installed Linux FC4 on that one, now i can use both linux and windows at the same time, It's a full linux install with no limitations, and real performance.

yes, u can. but vmware is very resource hungry, and gives you a 75% performance only. dont ever think of it if you dont have atleast 512 MB RAM
