Default SUSE 9.1 problems Continued!!!

Guys!
I hv two problems in SUSE 9.1

1.) Kaffine media player is automatically opened whenever I logged in linux. This problem I face each time (Till today so many times I hv installed SUSE 9.1, and whenever I open Kaffine first time, its automatically opened each time I login). Is it a BUG in SUSE 9.1? What is the solution of it?

2.) I d/l Firefox installer for linux. It contains many files and I think i hv to use either firefox-installer-bin or firefox-installer file to install it. But whenever I try to run these files in terminal, I got ERROR.
Like, when I try to install using firefox-installer by giving command "sh firefox-installer", it gave me error in line 55, permission denied for firefox-installer-bin.
And when I tried to install using firefox-installer-bin by giving command "./firefox-installer-bin", it gave same error permission denied.

Although I was logged in as ROOT...
how can I install firefox?

Perhaps the file firefox-installer-bin does not have executable rights, run a chmod +x firefox-installer-bin before invoking firefox-installer.

hey vishal, try these

For that auto start of Kaffine
look into the file "/etc/init.d/skeleton" and make changes if any.

For Firefox try using Download RPM and install using Yast....

Also Look int http://www.linuxforums.org/forum/topic-47842.html

Hey what r u talking about!
Giving read and write permissions to a file ?
Have u ever installed a software from a limited account in winXP??
Dats the case here!! U cant install any program from a normal user account in linux! If u try to do so it 'll give "permission denied" error. So for installing program u have to be super user or root!
Now goto command and type "su" it'll ask for root password. So fill in the blanks! after that install the prog
By typing "sh firefox.bin" or "./firefox.bin" whatever ur filename is.

Yah!
Very true.
I clearly mentioned that I logged as ROOT.

But now a new problem!!!!!
Today when i started SUSE to check the method naveenchandran suggested, I surprised that it opened YaST automatically.
It was displaying YaST initiallizing... and there were only two buttons Accept and Cancel. When I clicked on Accept button, it again came back to same YaST screen.
Its happening again and again on clicking ne of those two buttons.
I can't login to linux.
Pls help....
