Default Changing the Login Display manager in RedHat and Fedora

Hi Guys, it is possible to change your login manager in fedora or redhat or virtually any distro that has Kde and GNOMe. I don't know if this has been posted but anyway i'll post it here.
1. press ctrl + alt + f1 on your login screen. Login as root
2. Navigate to /etc/X11/
3. Open prefdm in VI a.k.a vi prefdm
4. Now in the 12th line or so u will find the sentence [b] Preferred= [b]
5. By default it's GNOME
5. U can type gdm , kdm or xdm to change ie gdm = GNOMe disp manager, kdm = KDE DM , XDM = X-window DM.
To enhance security in KDM disables root account. I found this in a book and i wanted to share with u guys!
Thank U

Yes! KDE supports themes.
1. Copy to /usr/share/apps/kdm/themes.
2. modify the lines in /usr/share/config/kdm/kdmrc to Theme=/opt/kde3.4/share/apps/kdm/themes/[ThemeName] //your themename in [ThemeName]
Thank You
And correct me if Iam wrong!
Plz donot credit me for anything above. I just learnt it from the book and wanted to share with u pals
