UBUNTU 11.10 beta solves boot prob ?

Hello Guys,

I have been facing problems with UBUNTU 11.04 installation, which i guess had graphic driver issues with ATI cards. After installation, it just doesn't boot. The screen just turns blank sometime, or just displays some process codes and then halts. The older 10.10 version was just fine with my laptop (it has ATI 5730M), and flawless. I have been trying to figure out the solution of the problem but couldn't get so.

So, what do you think, installing Ubuntu 11.10 beta could solve the problem ?
I don't feel to install it unless i get some kind of assurance
