Default help in ubuntu install


i have p1.5 768 sdram and two hard disk

first hard disk has two partition with xp in one partition

second disk has three partition with no data(30+30+20gb)

i want to install ubuntu in 2nd hard disk partition

i have problem in partition configuration in install ubuntu at start up


can u help ,is there any site to help in install dual boot up


please it urgent

Try going to Ubuntu Wiki and read the installation docs.

If you can't follow them entirely then take print outs and follow the procedure during installation.
Just remember one thing. During the time of installation, choose /dev/hdb and not hda for partitioning. hda is the Hard Disk that most probably has Windows on it while hdb is the blank one.
