mesa 7.7 update

hi i am using ubuntu 9.10 . i want to update mesa to latest version 7.7.
how can i do this with easily.



last night i updated my system with keryx offline
updater
and after than i run syneptic packege manager to repair broken dependencies.
because firefox was not starting. but now even ubuntu gui is not starting.
i have had enough with linux from last 3 years trying. still there is no 3d driver for my via gpu.
also linux is only for geeks. goodbye so called best os ubuntu. its better
to buy a legal copy of windows.

Seems to me that you didn't learned anything about Linux since last 3 years.. you can log in the console mode and then run sudo apt-get update or sudo apt-get install mesa-drivers-experimental...

Moreover, you can also boot the old kernel which will present you with the GUI..

Finally, its not good to blame a software coz you couldn't figure it out.. my Dad runs Fedora on his laptop since last 1 year.. and he never complains...

Use Windows. It's the best for you.

Or even better, get a Mac if you have $$$.
