Question How to create a RECOVERY DISK using Acronis True Image


i just wanna create a recovery disk including my windows OS with all the drivers and softwares installed as of now, it should be exactly like the recovery disks we get along with a laptop.pls help me how to create it, i just installed Acronis True Image, but confused how to create it.. someone pls help

You should create a bootable Acronis CD whereby you dont have to install the program itself to backup partions. You can boot with this cd and it can be used in other PCs as well.

Coming to your query, create a full backup of your C: (windows) drive and when you reach the various options, you can specify the size of the backup image (700MB/4GB) so that you can burn them on cd/dvd as per the requirements.

I dont know what type of recovery cds are provided with laptops.

had tried acronis software long back, but it never worked with me, tried many times but process of writing the data on DVD never completed, an error comes and d process stops...
is there anyone who has tried Acronis, plz giv us a step step by procedure of it...
