Default vlc on fc7 without livna

i need to install vlc/nvidia drivers/.... on fedora 7
as the livna repo discontinued FC7..
so, i need a workarround?

i cannot upgrade FC7 to like FC8,9,10,11,12 because..::
i need to patch its kernel with RTAI

as i will keep the PC ON all the time, i need to work on FC7 only.
(i mean how ugly is it PC that cannot play songs/movies...)

the livna tries to fetch data from http://rpm.livna.org/mirrorlist , as it's $releasever is 7 because of FC7 no such folder in any mirror exist,.....

Default Re: vlc on fc7 without livna

I think u can do that although i didn't remember the exact procedure but it was something like
open package installer click on Add repository(or something like that u have to find it)
then add the url of the ftp directory and stay connected on internet it will download the file repod.xml or something like that.
if it doesn't happen and only option is to donwload the packages and do a manual install.
