To RHCE or not to RHCE?

iam doing my btech... do cerifications matter..i mean as a fresher do they carry any weightage??

does getting red hat certi matter?

Definitely, certifications will give you an edge over ur
competitors. If u go for any off-campus placements, preference will
be given.
Be sure, the certification which u do must suit ur interests as the
interviewer can ask anything from it.

RHCE is nowdays, a hot certification as RHCE professionals are much in
demand.
