any significant changes from KDE 4.2.2?
will I have to download whole 400 odd MB for monthly update?

^^If you don't like downloading updates stick to Xfce 4.6.
I use it with Conky and I think its a complete DE and has great stability and features. You get a new version released every 2 years, and yearly around 2 updates.

That Strigi bug that hangs the dolphin while fetching preview and all.. they wil replace strigi with nepomuk in 4.3 !
