I have installed Icecast 2 streaming server, ices 2 and ezstreamer source clients on my Ubuntu 8.10 The problem I'm now facing is with live feeds, both from Ubuntu and Windows.
- In Ubuntu, I wanted to use MuSE as client for providing live feeds but "apt-get install muse" installed some MIDI thingy which too needs jack audio server. Now I don't know where or how to get this jack audio server working on my Ubuntu. Secondly I don't know any other MuSE like client either.

- In Windows, I tried to use Winamp coupled with Oddsock plugin for live feeds but it keeps on disconnecting. This is what its log file records.

Please if anybody knows how to rectify it, please help. I even tried ubuntuforum.org but nobody replied.

Here's the link to
my thread there.
BTW can I stream mp3 files using Icecast 2 and ezstreamer? Is there any mobile client for S60v3 phones that can allow me to receive Icecast's .ogg streams on my phone itself? I do have the Oggplayer for my phone but it doesn't supports streaming. If I do run the streaming link from my mobile phone's browser, it just starts downloading the stream.
