Default install modem in suse 9.1


How do i install my Generic Soft 56k modem in Suse 9.1 and then connect to internet using dial-up connection????

Its highly unlikely that your Internal Modem chipset drivers are available with SuSE. You may want to use some existing topics already posted here to get your internal modem detected.

Please use $ lspci -v to identify which modem chipset you are using.
