Default Need a decent image editing software

Friends,
I need a software for doing simple image editing particularly jpg / png format. Don't suggest me Gimp. Its too advanced and powerful for my requirement. I want to do some simple editing like cropping, highlighting, drawing some lines/ arrows, boxes, cricles. etc.

My search has been not fruitful. Currently, I have Inkscape, Gimp, installed. Inkscape seems to do the work to good extent but saving file in non common format like svg, may not be helpful for me.

Please help...

Cos Inkscape is basically a Vector graphics editing app .. not raster which would be GIMP ..
Yes Phtofiltre is good
http://photofiltre.free.fr/ (theres a paid pro edition too)
and Paint.NET
http://www.getpaint.net/

then theres Artweaver
http://www.artweaver.de/index.php?en_version

Yeah Right, he is asking for a Windows app in an OSS section. .

Try mtPaint or sK1 though sK1 is more like Coreldraw.
