[HELP] Ploblem with windows7 boot loader for adding ubuntu 8.10

Hi all!
this is my first thread here. I'm 15 nd dunno how 2 do things wid my PC. So ppl rather uncles nd bhaiyas pls help.
ok.all i wanted was to try Windows7 on my PC which already had XP and ubuntu 8.10 installed on separate partitions. My Config i as fiollows:

Intel Core2quad Q6600 @ 2.4 GHz
MSI P35 Platinum Board
2 Gigs single-channel RAM

After installing ubuntu over Xp i had d grub bootloader which had n option of choosing either XP or ubuntu. but whn i recenrly installed win7, the bootloader bcame windows7's and i had options only to run either 7 or 'older version of windows'.
Now i had read abt BCD Edit using which one could actually add Ubuntu to Win7's bootloader, bt i tried and it didn't work out. Maybe i dont knw how to......

hey there...
Don't go for windows boot loader....
i don't know whether u can add option of linux in windows boot loader or not......
but u can reinstall grub and mount all your OS partition....
simply go through this thread.....

ya tht's okay with me either ways....grub or windows bootloader
but what i want is HOW:roll:
i mean if i re-install GRUB thn it'll add both XP and win7 bt wht abt my data nd setting on ubuntu
i want to boot into the same ubuntu!

i m tell u to install grub boot loader and not whole ubuntu...
this will just overwrite ur windows boot loader....
ur ubuntu settings n data won't go.....

Hi,
My problem is I have two hard drive in one xp and in another fedora, I can boot in both but by setting HD preference in BIOS, I wanna add xp in my grub How do go about this. My grub config look like this

the text in bold I added to do but its not working at all. Please help.
