Default Can we read LINUX partitions on WINDOWS?


I know through explorer in windows it is not possible to view the contents of /ext2 partitions created by LINUX but are some softwares available which might make it possible ? ? LINUX allows WINDOWs partitios but WINDOWS does not allow LINUX partitions ? ?

Windows cant read ext2 partitions natively, but you can use external tools like explore2fs to access them.

Also, this tool is for ext2 or ext3 paritions, for something like reiserfs, try rfstool.

U can also browse lext2, ext3 partitions in windows using PartitionMagic 8
