Exclamation Linux Mint option missing in xp boot loader

Hi Guys

I had installed Linux Mint 6 using Wubi installer in a dual boot config with windows XP. But then I tried to install Ubuntu 8.10 using Wubi installer again to another partition of the same hard disk just to try it out. After Wubi completed its work I restarted. But I saw no option of Linux Mint in the Xp bootloader , its was replaced by a Ubuntu option. What should i do to get the option of Linux Mint back inthe bootloader ??? Isn't it possinle to view the files stored in Linux Mint partition in Xp.......if there is plz tell how ?

DONT use Wubi. Just create a partition and install Linux Mint. Wubi seriously affects disc performance due to running from linux userspace.

And just for the reference, its pointless to migrate to Ubuntu from Linux Mint. They use the SAME USERSPACE APPLICATIONS packaged in different CDs and have equal performance. Each can be modified to look like the other.

Friend cool down. There is nothing to worry.

First check C:\boot.ini file to see if there is the option.

Otherwise open Ubuntu and you'll see drives at you desktop, open them and search for your home directory @ mint.
