You might want to try out Webmin - the one stop solution for all these things, for any Linux distro.

Also, RHEL and Fedora come with many GUI tools to let you configure the basic servers, like Apache.

U r learning RHCE right , i guess u asked long time ago where to learn abt the centers right !!

Guess what i had completed the RHCE certified exam 2 weeks back , now i am getting fully expertise on the "HTTPD" and "MTA"

As for your concern - u know we wont use any tools , configure the domain name with prescribed statements any with that !!!

u tried SSH ??? then VSFTPD configuration is easy one line statement

Code:
vi /etc/hosts.deny

vsftpd: ALL EXCEPT "ur domain hostname"
thats all , y u need the tools for that

@anurag_bhd and @talktorishav thanks i will chk what webmin is

@ damngoodman999
i just gave a couple of examples.. i m afraid at corporate level you dont do just a ftp server. u will need to secure it and also sometimes they require you to do SSL or PKI encryption as well. I just wanted to know if there were any list of tools available for such purposes.
