Lightbulb "Open" to LINUX..!!


Hi Guys,
After years of playing around with windows i thought its time to move on to learn more..
i'm a newbie to linux i want it to try and play with it..
suggest me a distro..
i currently have ubuntu and openSUSE with me..
which one can i put first ???
NOTE: i know only the following terms abt linux:KDE,GNOME,DISTROS.....

yeah.. Ubuntu is easier to use and when you double click a media file it will automatically download the required codecs.. OpenSUSE, on the other hand is advanced version.. once you get familier with Linux then you can shift to OpenSUSE.

When you get comfortable with Ubuntu...look at Fedora or OpenSUSE...

I would recommend you to go with Linux Mint

It is Ubuntu + all proprietary codecs, which will help you get with basic things in a breeze
