Post How to connect the broadband in fedora 9 "


Need help in connecting tataindicom broadband to the fedora 9"

I have my user name and passwd only ...
I am new to fedora9

It's easy
Go to System>Advanced (or something like that which is just below the Preferences)Then click on Network connect your modem to lan card through ethernet cable. Then
click on new connection
Select xDSL connection on left side then follow instruction on screen
There's also a way to connect through USB cable just plugin your USB cable in modem and connect to your pc. Then follow same procedures to create a new connection but when it will ask about lan card the select your Router and then connect your cable activate the connection and surf.
