Hi
I removed all the drivers I installed from Mandriva repos.. I downloaded latest 8.561 from ATI site today and installed it..

I have a one problem. ... It install everything buy didn't install ATI control center.. Please tell me how to bring it backk..

I re-installed and navigate to mroe options and installed only ATI CC but nothing happened ...

Will try the latest released Cataly 9.1 now and see if it fix it...

Default Re: Problem with ATI Catalyst Installer

Try launching catalyst via terminal:
Code:
amdcccle
If it doesn't launch:
Check whether the drivers are really installed:

Code:
fglrxinfo
It should give Output if installed:
Code:
display: :0.0 screen: 0
OpenGL vendor string: ATI Technologies Inc.
OpenGL renderer string: ATI Radeon X1200 Series
OpenGL version string: 2.1.8304 Release
Also generate the distribution specific package and install the .RPM.

Thnx but its fglrxinfo .. .Also why isn't the options available in the menus ? Will add them though..

Just one more question.. ATI Catalys 9.1 is out,, Should I have to remove 8.561 before installing 9.1 ?

Is yes how can I remove currently installed ? There in no option in rpmdrake [it doesn't list manually installed drivers]
