Smile Arch made easy!

Installing arch is made simple by softpedia. It will make it simple but you dont enjoy your frustration installing arch.
I too have spent 5 hours to install window managers,X.....but the wiki is really good.All the time is spent to read it carefully.First I was shocked not to see the GUI in linux, misleaded it is a server but after refering to Distrowatch learnt that it is SIMPLE Linux. Is it really simple?

It has X already added in the ISO

Anyway EASIEST Arch :::

5 hours for installing window manager

It takes less than 2-3 commands to get GUI. Yeah the net speed decides the completion of download.

I have read that KDE installation takes a day. I have not yet installed a desktop environment but X and window managers installation were installed successfully ( that too with great difficulty until in my college they teached unix commands.

But one thing using net as resource and experting CLI can make things a bit easy.

I have a 128KBPS cable connection at home. Anyway I have no time at present to look back at arch. May be I will try again in June after my 4th sem. I will then install KDE 4.x and post my desktop.
