Virtual Box upgrade from version 1.5.51 to 2.0.4
I am getting error(pls see attacment) after upgrading the Virtual Box ver 1.5.51 to ver 2.0.4. I first uninstalled the ver 1.5.51 then installed ver 2.0.4. OS is Windows Storage Server 2003 with SP2 32 bit edition. Need Help. Thanks Subhashish Last edited by Subhashish.laha; 10-12-2008 at 05:19 AM. |

Are you using VirtualBox or VirtualBox-OSE? What is your host OS Windows or Linux

He has mentioned a single OS, read carefully !! if that is his guest OS then what is his host OS

This is a Host OS. I get the error when I execute VirtualBox.exe.
I am using VirtualBox ver 2.0.4 not VirtualBox-OSE. The screenshot details are below: VirtualBox - Critical Error Failed to create the VirtualBox COM object. The application will now terminate. Assertion Failed at 'C:\vbox\branch\w32-2.0\src\Vbox\Main\VirtualBoxImpl.cpp' (306) in VirtualBox::init. Unknown exception . Please contact the Product vendor!.
