Default Unable to mount NTFS parititon in Ubuntu 8.04
here(attached) is the screen shot of the error while i mounted the NTFS Partition (MUSIX) which i once already mounted.
i searched gooogle and i am totally confused..
pl clarify the me and solve the problem soon.

(i have 2 hdd and i want to mount 2nd parititon of the disk 2 which is formated by NTFS.)

Attachment not working, post on some site and give link!.

Isn't it auto-mounting? Don't you see the volumes on desktop? Check for installed packages namely hal, fuse and ntfs-3g.

Add the following line to /etc/fstab file
Quote:
/dev/sdb2 /some/folder/to/be/used/for/mount/ ntfs-3g defaults 0 0
*if it isnt a SATA disk, it will be hdb2.
