Default Gmail with Emacs

Have anyone configured Gmail with Emacs. If so, please tell me so or atleast post the HOWTO link.

You might want to go through Emacs/Gnus howto.
I haven't done it but configuring it would be like configuring POP3/SMTP with an email client.

I think Gnus is for news reading.
and RMail is for mail. Dunno. just started learning to use emacs.

Anyway Gmail needs secure SSL connection.
GNUrag, can you write a HOWTO on it. It would be helpful for many of us. In the mean time I will check out Google and also ask my LUG

@cnu, i actually use Emacs for mail composing on office email account. But it only works as an editor only, and is invoked by Mutt . That way i have an easy to use Email client, and easy to use text editor.

Gnus is a Newsgroup cum Email reader. It just needs to be configured either ways. I never got time to read Gnus' documentation to configure it. Writing mutt's config file was easier. If you are keen on using Emacs-integrated-Mutt then you may use this muttrc file:
