Default Vmware help in OpenSUSE 11


Hi Nucleuskore,

I would like use xen , vmware in opensuse 11, I need your advice in this regards.

^^ use virtualBox. It is the easiest of them all Xen is like... well.. 3rd world thing.

Hi
The idea of asking you to post in the relevant section is so that your query may be seen by as many people as possible.
I only have experience in VirtualBox. I did try installing VMWare, it's a command line install, but I found that it asks too many questions, especially with regards to network, NAT etc., and the default VirtualBox settings suit me fine.
I am sure that our more experienced members will help you out if they know. If you do not get an answer here search in http://forums.opensuse.org

Do consider what has been suggested above...I personally also prefer Virtualbox over VMware...Secondly,VMware also proves to be a cumbersome one....I wonder how both differ in installation size significanly but offer the same features for the starters...I mean,the windows version of VMware was around 250 MB compared to 24 MB of Virtualbox...The ratio 10:1 must attract you !!!
