Default New to Open source....


Hi there everone.....
i am new to linux and would like to know which linux distro has the best GUI and what is the difference betwen linux CD and DVD....

the GUI depends upon how you wish.
CD will normally have the all the things that are essential and necessary for a linux experience.
DVD contains extra goodies and some proprietary softwares

You can try openSUSE if all you want are visuals and graphical front-ends to all major tasks one does on an OS.
