D-link modem

I am using a dial up connection wich is too slow most of the times and
no chance of any broad band coming here it the near future.. i would like to change my modem with a modem which can recognize incoming call nos . can some one give me information on such modem wich are available in the market .and please... hope not mention a scary price
i hope its cheap

caller id is dependent on ur phone line and telephone service provider
and also ull need a software

calller id facility is available over the telephone line only the modem needs to be working , the one i have i an internal modem dlink dfm-560is+++ data/fax/voive modem i thin k this modem dosent support caller id any modems that support..... suggest me any ..
