Default Does Vista Support Mtnl Triband Modem?


Well here is the much hyped vista rc1 and i wanna use it ,but the problem is whether vista supports the router provided by our mtnl broadband dept??

The last time i used vista,beta-1,it didn't.

It worked on Beta 2 ... will tell about RC1 in a few days.

Websites are not working on Vista Beta 2 even i connected...i tried mozilla but nothing happen....

Works fine for me .. in fact surfing is lot faster in vista (using IE7) but i use opera and that also works without probs. None of my friends had prob with MTNL router in vista.
Try in RC1 maybe i'll work.

hemant,you mean to say the vista already has drivers for it or tried to install windows-xp's driver on it.
coz the cd provided by the mtnl guy has drivers till winxp.

Better use a ADSL router with Vista or Linux. It will work!!!

I used the xp drivers provided on the cd ... it gave some error but then installed without hitch.
