Default Monitor went blank (Urgent)

Hi there . I recently bought your JULY issue and installed a game from it. After succesfully installing the game it asked me whether i'd like to view the game in a full screen mode and it also said that not all PC's have this feature(Full Screen mode) in them. I opted for yes and my monitor went blank. There seems to be no major problem with the system as you can still here the startup sound(Desktop theme) going on in the background. I tried rewiring the whole thing several times but the problem is still there. Could you mail me the solution to this problem on my id i.e. rahul_3250@yahoo.co.in
THANKS.

can u view ur screen before the windows loads....
If u can then boot into safe mode and then try changing the full screen to window....( do this if it provides an external config ..) If u cant try uninstalling the game and reinstalling the video drivers...

restart ur system in VGA (Win XP) mode or safe mode (Win 98) and change ur resolution. that should fix the problem.

To go into bootmenu:

Win98: Press F8 while booting
WinXP: Press and hold CTRL key while booting

This is probably because the game has set the high resoultion for the monitor which the monitor does not support....

so restart the system and in the safe mode...which u will get by pressing F8......change the resoultion or try with diff settings.
