Airtel Mobile office going down

friends,i m using airtel mobile office from a long time,but now in these days its going down day by day.please share your experiences here.is there anybody else facing such type of problems from airtel mobile office write it here.thanks

Agree.

Earlier Mobile Office used to give a good experience but not now. Airtel has been facing severe problems now-a-days.

1) The Mobile Office speed is damn slow, than it was earlier. I have an EDGE enabled mobile, but still it sucks.

2) Very frequently the net gets disconnected for no reason.

Some other problems with Airtel :

1) Airtel deducted Rs.30 from my friends account inspite of he deactivating caller tune a month ago. This is seriously unfair.

2) Signal strength is very weak compared to Vodafone & other competitors. Just enter a basement or a secluded spot & the network bars vanish. I am using Airtel in Mumbai.

EDGE is available in my area and my phone is also EDGE enabled but still mobile office sucks. I'm only 100m away from tower. But still network connection is so slow in Kota, rajasthan.
It can go upto 11kBps but normally it's 8kBps and at peak hours it go as low as 2.4kBps. Idea is much faster here.

I am getting a pathetic 5kb/s at night and during day lol lets not talk about that

am using MO from last 8 months
first 5 months it used to connect on phone and on pc in less than 5 seconds. since july end it takes ages to connect.sometimes 30 minutes to 50 minutes it has improved little bit but still it takes 5 to 10 mins to connect which is nonsense. during night after 12:30 it connects in 3 to 4 seconds but not during day. i get gud dl speed of above 12KBps to 25KBps during day and above 25KBps consistent during night after around 1pm

but the service quality has degraded a lot to say the least .many times it happens that the connection gets stalled during daytime and if by chance am chatting wid my gal then she thinks that am not replying to her chats intentionally and gets angry .

Btw, i think thats happen because of lots of user is now on gprs, and speed is getting slower

yes friends your are right that's only happening due to rush,becuase airtel mobile office is cheapest solution as compared to others so lot of people starts to using its services only for gprs.but is there any technical solution from the side of airtel.lets watching.i think there is don't any.

Yep. Since the AirTel Tower problem here, speeds are never above 10KBps for me. Earlier I used to get around 28KBps average using my iPhone. Maybe many people have come to know about the trick to use MO for free Hope affordable 3G comes soon....

For me Airtel MO was down for a full week, last week. It was like torture, no net! Worst thing is I call up Cust care they INSIST its a problem on my laptop/mobile I was like :roll: yeah whatever

In Delhi, it was down for 8-9 hours only.
Temporary Network problem was the errror message that I saw when I tried to connect to GPRS service on my phone.

OMG 25Kbps, i never got above 7-8 Kbps download speed, and get frequent disconnections.
Surfing on Mobile is not fast too..

I m using mo in patna with edge and easily get a download speed varying fm 15-30 kB/sec.

After a lot of thinking about it now i decided to go to another ISP because its now totally sucks in punjab,i requested to customer care many times but they only ask about my name phone no.then will say we forward your request and ok.nothing will improve i can't even surf through it now in day time.

mo sucks in chandigarh .. dwnld speeds don't cross 5 kBps .... BSNL on the other hand is blazzzzing fast ..lolllll ... it gives me dwnld speeds of >11kBps in the day and >21kBps at night consistently !!!!!

As in delhi mo charges are 35/50kb so i was using kolkata sim here paying Rs 498/m and getting avg 128kbits speed but kolkata airtel raised charges to 999/m so i shifted to a rajasthan sim but started getting lower speed but thought it was a local tower problem but funny...delhi cc was adamant there was no congestion in my area so i activated mobile office for a day @35Rs on my kolkata sim and i was getting the actual mo speed of over 128kbit/sec but weneva i insert my rajasthan sim in same place in same mobile my speed is limited to 70kbit/secangry so its not a network problem but the speed is artificially controlled???

Now I am getting good speeds > 10KB/s @ daytime and ~25KB/s @ night in Hardy Heron
I guess Airtel hates Windows

Also the connection hasn't dropped even once here.
Neither Airtel deducted Rs.15 from my account from day since I started using hrady heron

Has Airtel improved?
