Need Help for using net on Mobile (Airtel)

Hi friends,
How r u all? I need ur help as I am unable 2 fix the problem..I have a Nokia 6300..The inbuilt nokia browser on 6300 works fine and I am able 2 surf with it...But when I try 2 surf with Opera mini, it gives CONNECTION FAILED error...

Similarly, when I try 2 use applications on 6300 which need 2 connect 2 Internet with gprs such as Teashark, Gmail, MobileRediff etc., it does not connect at all and gives DATA TRANSFER NOT POSSIBLE. CHECK DATA CONNECTION error..

What cud b the possible cause? I have an airtel postpaid connection...How can I used web based applications on my cellphone which need 2 connect through gprs? Please guide..Do I need 2 give any extra settings somewhere??

Set Mobile Office(or Airtel Live, it using it) as default access point for all apps . Then all apps will start working.

NOP (Net on Phone) - can be used only to browse web/wap sites using the inbuilt default browser.
MO - (Mobile Office) - can be used to browse web/wap sites using the inbuilt default wap and web browser. All apps can access internet if APN = Mobile Office. MO can also be used to access the internet on Desktop/Laptop.

^^Opera / teashark/gmail app work with NOP/Airtel live as well.

Thanks a lot 4 ur replies guys...Do I need 2 get mobile office activated? Will I have 2 pay extra 4 that 2 airtel...Any idea??

I'm not sure about this but get the settings for airtel live and set tat as the default profile.. Next replace the apn from airtelfun to airtelwap... This should enable u to use nop on net-apps....

Charges for mobile office vary from Rs.249pm to Rs. 599pm depending upon the region for unlimited use.

Follow the process mentioned in that page and u will be able use NOP with ur applications like Opera mini, Morange, Yahoo go to connect to internet. No need to subscribe to costly services like MO and Airtel LIVE.
