Got my N82 Black today!

BTW, I didn't yet fiddle too much with me cell now.
But, I took some snaps and found the camera to be superb.
The phone speed is also very good. No lags or delays.

No accelerometer games were given in the cell.

And, keypad needs some getting used to.

Overall, a great phone indeed.

n82 is great phone .. no doubt . i moved back onto n82 after using n95 8gb for 15 days only .. n82 is way better in my book ..

Wow!! Just a few days back you wrote a few posts saying how much you enjoyed the N95 8GB over the N82. If I remember correctly you just missed the xenon but said that the N95 8GB's large screen more than compensates for it

@geekyme : Well the built in real player supports Mp4, rmvb & 3gp video formats.
But install Core player, its one hella of a video player plus extras.

I would recommend Mp4(x264) for the video format. Great quality at very small sizes.

music playback through headset and gps performance is better in n82 .. n95 is obviously bulky ..wobbly slider ..also i needed to slide keypad open to use even selection keys to get better grip .. d pad on n82 is better ..u need to get few days of hands on experience to get final impression .. whatever i posted was my initial expression which i was wrong .. though big screen of n95 8gb is a bliss ..

but i think i will go back again to n95 8gb ..

n82 is better overall package .. but then once u get used to that big screen of n95 8gb and proper keypad then its kinda hard to use n82 again .. also there is a bit of difference in both devices camerawise not counting xenon flash .. music playback thorugh ep630 is better in n82 .. gps performance is better in n82 too .. faster gps locks ..battery life is comparable ..speakers of n82 suck as led flash of n95 8gb .. speakers on n95 8gb are very good ..loud and clear ..

for camera centric device .. n82

for video centric device n95 8gb ..movie watching is pure bliss ..more of a movie person ..

wish nokia could have put xenon on n95 or give n82 atleast a 2.6 inch screen ..

also, weight of n95 8gb could be an issue for some .. for me its not a big deal ..

also anybody has any idea abt philips she-9800 earphones ?

I am yet to find out the improvements. But one suggestion is do not update the firmware using Nokia Software Updater. I tried doing it and my phone froze the first day I bought it. I spent 19k on a phone and it is lying at the service center since the time I bought it. Search my other posts and you will know why.. If you are satisfied with the old firmware stick to it.. Or when U get a chance, befriend someone at your nearest Nokia ASC and get the firmware updated in half an hour.
