go for N95-8gb. It has more RAM which results in better performance and lesser hangs. Big screen and a cool black color. However if you don't consider dual slide design (a bit of uncomfortable in jeans pockets) N82 is slight better option.

In my opinion go for a set with S60 3rd edition FP 2 (newer models of nokia features this os).

it depends on 2 things..

1. what PC ur having right now.
2. what phone ur using right now.

if both of them suck then try to invest in both the things...
If u can live with your current PC or Phone right now, then go for the other remaining thing.

welll the build quality of the n95 8gb is too bad... The slider starts to wobble slightly, but doesn't "run loose"
The paint on the volume, camera and gallery keys gradually peel off..

There is ovast diffefence between n95 and n95 8Gb. the difference is only of memory. N95 8GB becomes sluggish. I think among these n82 is better.

Thumbs up Re: Help in selecting Nokia N95 vs. N95 8Gb

I hav heard that the new firmware v20-v30 removes many halt sluggish bug from n95 8gb, and makes it more stable.

Reason I asked the question is that my n81's front navi wheel starts to rip of the silver paint from a side, and some scratches on the back cover. Thats why i wanted to know more info what to do. friend of mine told me to get a new mobile, as I prefer slider design so N95 8gb get into my eyes.

Question for N95 8gb owners,

1. Does your mobile reboots what the v30 firmware update, is it more speedy, stable?
2. How many month use makes the slider wobble?

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

SECOND NEWS

I am also going for the pc upgrade !!!!!!!!! HOOHAAAY

But I have a question:

1.If I install the following items in my pc whats the most bottleneck part in
the specs left?

a. E8400
b. Nvidia 9800 GT or ATi 4850 ( depends on my area availability )

SPECS:

Intel D 945 GCNL MOBO
2 X 1Gb Kingston DDR2 RAM @ 667Mhz
400w local PSU
LG Optical Combo drive CD/CD-R/CD-RW/DVD
2 X HD 160 Gb SeaGate 7500RPM
Apocalpyse X400 MOD Case with 2 Aftermarket Fans
Windows Xp Pro SP2 Genuine Validated.

PLZ help again.........

thanks
bilal

change ur mobo, if u want something cheaper then go for the Abit IP35-E...or any mobo u choose based on P35 chipset.

I dont think the 400w PSU will be able to handle a 9800GT.

even with ver 20 firmware, my n95 8gb was very fast with no rebooting issues .. with ver 30 the situation is improved a bit ..its a bit faster now .. and the slider does wobble a tiny little bit ..not a huge drawback ..i am just using it for the last 20 days so, long term effect is not known ..

This is up to you what do you want to use in your mobile phones both are similar except memory .If you are looking for more capacity of memory then n95 8GB is better but there is no card slot while in n95 there is expandable memory. I think both are alike. just browse http://www.blueunplugged.com/c.aspx?c=39978 and see which one to be owned?
