Just increase your budget by ~1.3K and get Nokia 3110c because it is fully worth. It got everything:

Bluetooth with A2DP, EDGE, mp3/AAC/WMA player, microSD card, FM, Java MIDP 2.0, 1.3mp camera.

You won't miss any feature after buying Nokia 3110c. I know that you don't require these features but still, you'll get good usability if you extend your budget.

If you still don't want to increase your budget, then MotoYuva W230.

Any sony phone can be modded easily to store a very high number of messages - mine can do 38000 messages.

I have thought about this... but am a li'l reluctant to use something other than Nokia. What is your experience about Quality and User Friendlyness of Moto as well as SE as compared to Nokia ?

I have mostly been a Nokia user. Though I primarily use HTC Gene and secondarily Moto W230.

My opinion is: There are differences but you wont take long to adapt to it.
Also, the UI as Fonts are the regular Motorola. Some like it, some dont. I did not like it earlier but can now live with it well.
If you are a frequent texter though; I think you will have to compromise on texting speed - the button presses in succession take time to reflect if you are a pretty fast texter. But still it owns the VFM tag. You may also miss JAVA programs but it has microSD card slot, Stereo FM with RDS, which is I guess enough to shadow the small things it misses out.

Though if you are a hardcore Nokia user; you may feel better buying a simple phone like 6030 with FM w/o MP3 a better deal.

I used nokia first, then got my first sony phone and havent looked back since. Sony phones are faster than symbian, and are highly moddable.

PS: sony and moto's keypads are exactly the opposite, you cant use them both together, confuses you like anything!
