Need digicam help

Hey guys i have a budget of 7 to 8 K for my digicam ( of course sponsrd by dad ). So i wanted to know which would be the best digicam within my budget. I had seen quite a few models amongst which are the following :
Canon A470 ( 7.1 mp 3.4x optical zoom)
Olympus some model ( 8 mp 5x optical zoom)
Sony cybereshot w110 ( 7.2 mp )

please guys help me out in this problem

If you can put in 500 bucks more..i would suggest Canon A590 IS with 8 mpx and image stabilisation.

I bought it recently..and very much satisfied with its performance.

how much does a canon a590 is come for???????
A 470 is priced at 6.8k here ( including a 1gb card)

590IS cost me approx 8500/- including all taxes and 1GB card free.Plus i got a reebok tshirt worth 499/-

dont go for 590 IS......it has 5cm macro distant....
while A470 has super macro distant 1cm.....

Go for Nikon Coolpix S550..10 MP camera with 5X optical zoom ..it rocks !
