airtel mobile office making me cry

hello ppl i am using airtel mobile office to connect to internet in bihar.
the speed i get is 32kbps (checked at speedtest.net)and download speed is less than 1kBps.
when i open one page no other pages open what do i do.
after searching on google i found ppl get much much more speed compared to me what do i do to improve my speed.
airtel signals r strong tower is close to home but no edge here.
so what speed should i expect. whith this.
can i improve it any trick or hack plz help.

Pease mention your Cellphone make.

You should expect a download speed of 3-4 kBps at least with GPRS. With EDGE; its another story...

With GPRS, you should get 6-7kBps. At most 10kBps.

And most important for how long you are experiencing this problem.

BTW how much tower(network coverage) you get.

enquire wat speed other MO users in ur place r getting..
if they r getting bettr speed, installing a firewall software.
if still nt, reinstall windows

i am using nokia 3220 .
i am living in forbesganj and airtel doesnot provides edge here.
i have been experiencing the slow speed problem since beginning.
and i dont think there is anyone else using it here (i mean airtel mobile office).
if u need some more information ask me but plz help me.
can changing the dial up no *99# will help?
i have tried *99# and *99***1#. but noluck

do you experience better speed in late nights, say after 1 AM.

i activated it in the beginning of february 2008.
in the beginning for so many weeks it did not worked i thought i ost my Rs249 but after few weeks i discovered it was working on mobile and then tried it on pc since last month
in the morning after 1am i think the speed gets little improved but very litle.
today i called the customer care he told it'ld be resolved by 2nd oct 9:33am.
lol i was wondering how can he be so sure to say that(2nd oct by 9:33 am)
anyways hope it happenes i mean the low speed problem resolved

in assam,when airtel first launchd MO, Speed was 3kbps, nw aftr 2yrs, its 9kbps.
so, ur signal is weak n nuttin can help u now

guys its 7th october now but i dont see much improvement in my airtel mobile office speed (the signal strength is good full 5 bars) but i dont know i am getting crappy speed is it because its not edge.
can anybody tell me when will airtel make it edge from gprs only.in others region its edge all over why not in my place?
