all contacts erased! pls help!!

Wen i upgraded my Nokia N72's firmware..all the contacts were erased frm the phone memory..is thr a way 2 bring them back..pls help...!
i have heard that any lost files may b retrieved..please help..

Upgrading the firmware Deletes all data stored on the phone and i dont think the data can be recovered then. But if you had contacts on the memory card or even on sim card you can copy them into Contacts. There are few softwares available which can recover data from formated cards, just Google it and you may find one..
