How can I Pimp my SE 810i?

I know there are many threads related to SE phones including the SE guru one but I could not find what I really needed. These are my questions:
1. I have seen many reference on net about changing the firmware of the SE phones. Will it be useful on my phone. I don't really like the default music player and video player.
2. Where can I find a detailed tutorial on how to go about modding my phone?
3. What are the various disadvantages of modding this phone.

I bought my phone a week ago would like to make the most of it but I want a detailed guide on how to do it.

hi I myself was searching about modding w810i for a few days..........(i do own one)

I've fopund this amazing tutorial (agreed.......there must be more better than this).......but i guess we are a bit late in modding w810i..........most of d resources used in this tutorial is not present in net( at least i couldn't find)........
u can try though..............if resources found plz remember to post the links here.......
