Help me choose buying the phone in first week of september

i am more into rokr e8..

Still 5320 and I450 and W890i got more features then it !@!

help me out guyz !@!

If you can withstand the screen size of E8,then buy it,otherwise i450.

Go fo the E8 or the i450.If you want looks too and a better cam, go for the W890.

if u want pure music go for the E8 but if u want good music with s60 platform then i450.

As a good all-round phone, I'd suggest i450.

it is the 5700 successor with S60 9.3 FP2 and 140 mb ram

5320. Its a superb fone. Cheap. Super fast. 9.3 FP2.The only letdown is the 2" screen and 2 MP cam.

Hmmm Box is very stylish to start with ,

3.Earphone - not great but fine can do the job
4. 3-4 Manuals which i never touched.
5. A scratch card, by which you can get some 25 songs unlocked and can win some gifts n stuff. Again i never used it.

When i was about to buy a cell i first went for i450 as it was new model, but after checking it in showroom, i was disappointed, firstly because the click wheel was very inresponsive, i mean you have to rub your fingers very hard to move menu up and down. Secondly, i really didn't like the overall phone UI, it was very basic to start with like you find in older nokia models.

But then the owner showed me rokrE8, and i was very impressed, so i took it there and then only. New design new features, cool touch wheel which is very responsive(almost like one on ipods, which you can use anywhere browsing through menus, pictures,phone book etc).
First time if you will see you can find the screen little small, but when you start using it you will notice that E8 screen is more in width while less in length, So its gives you a widescreen experience .

Camera is average, nothing to boast about , it jus for the sake of it. Awesome Long battery life, it runs for almost 3 days with my usage of minimum 1 hour of calling everyday.

It will take time to get along with Keypad of E8 , as its very different from the usual ones, to start with there are no keys at all, just plain screen with small dots to show where you have to press to do something.

i would say i450 and w890. its true about the clickwheel its too hard but the sound quality is awesome. for everything else theres w890. btw w760 is available for 15.5k its also a great buy.

I think for pure music reason , go for rokr e8. The sound is best i've heard.

If you want to go symbian way , go for n81 instead of i450 . Because n81 is better than i450 in every way except its weight . Moreover the screen of i450 sucked . I've played with & compared both phone extensively in store if you want more details you can ask me.

By the way ,are you sure is 5320 available in india ? What's the price ? I'm also interested in that phone.

i wouldn't recommend the n81 its slow compared to i450 and i450 is louder. but if you want wifi and ngage gaming n81 is your only choice.

and MOTO ROKR GOT linux na ?

i am very confused rokr only targeted on music and nothing else ?

i will go and see all of them in mobile store tomorrow !@!

btw no one got S9 bundled with E8 ?

Can't comment on other phones, I have E8 so I will comment on that.

1) How hard is it to understand it is a music phone? It does only music and does it with aplomb and nothing else.

2) Why do you want a state of the art camera in a music phone? I certainly don't.

3) Yes it has Linux and with this phone Motorola has started its MOTOMAGX platform journey. It is not modifiable like E6 (not yet) **

4) The hapstic keypad was the main intention of Motorola on this phone and it rocks! Using the wheel betters every touchscreen and buttons.

5) S9 is not bundled with it, but I use the S9 of E6 and it works fine.

6) Wallpapers and themes are not yet out for this phone, although wallpapers can be resized and created on the PC for it.

7) Please don't ever jump into conclusions and buy this phone. If music is your forte, then you may try.

**Motorola has released the development studio to create your own apps for the MOTOMAGX platform for both Linux and Windows. If you can program or have the interest, you can build your own apps.

ROKR E8 doesnt come bundled with S9.it comes with portable spkrs.if u want stereo bt handsfree then go 4 ROKR U9.music quality is same as E8.

One question arising on my mind is how well rokr handles large memory cards with lots of music ? The rokr i tested had only about dozen songs and it didn't seemed to have very fast interface ( it was still pretty fast , but just a little slower compared to s60/walkman player ) . I'm curious to know does the speed decreases with more songs like say 4gig of songs.

PS. : i'm not underestimating rokr , its a great music phone . But i still cant get over the horrible memory of first rokr days, the E398.

It handles pretty well, I'm using 8GB sandisk having 2.6Gb of music and 4Gb of movies and it runs smooth as ever. The only thing is you have to leave it to initialize (about 10 secs) all that data in the Music Player mode, when you switch it(the phone) on or unplug from mass storage state.

Edit: I forgot about the inbuilt 2GB, so make that 10

well as Hitboxx has already mentioned the rokr fones dont slow down when used with a 8GB mem card.
the only thing that i didnt like is that u cant use the Bass Boost and the Eq at the same time.

Can you show me a website having E8 appz ..

And for the java stuff many of the games will run but because of it's awkward screen resolution i will have to find hard for diffrent resolutions

i think the E8's keypad will also create probs in gaming.if u want gamin then u can buy Nokia 5320 XM.even i'm thinking of buying it on Tuesday.

What's the exact price of current price of 5320 ? And what memory card it comes with ?
Specwise the phone looks very promising . But i'm yet to see this model
