N 5300 or W350i??? plz advice soon

m mainly foccusing on quality music on earphones wit expandable slot....

camera not concern coz i already hv a digicam but still better if atleast 1.3mp is present for instant click...

stylish looks preferred...

i can see nokia 5300 and se w350i....both look good but wich ones better for me....

and any other advice r welcome.....waiting for ur response....

ps: m trying 2 resale my 2.5 year old se k300i in top working condn wit all accesories....
mobile store n subhiksha n all r offering me 800-1k....is it ok or its worth more....

w350i for musoc through headphones and 5300 through speakers.both have 3.5 mm adapter supplied with them. you can also look at w380i.

Take a good earphone ( like ep630) and check both mobile. 5310 does have great sound.

But 5310 is better in many other ways :

3.5 mm jack. You dont have to carry a adapter with you . Though 5310 adapter is very convenient because it has remote. Very very convenient in real life ,imagine when you're in bus and its its hard to get phone out of pocket to change tracks.

Better (slightly larger) screen. (qvga vs 176x220 ) 16 million color. Better readablity under sunlight.

Actually feels good in hand. Better built quality. 5310 is definitly more sturdy.

The dedicated music keys of w350i aren't actually accessible . Like when you're typing sms / browsing etc. Where as 5310 are always on.

I think 5310 is good overall as a music player . Actually mobilereview.com compared it against w880i. So 5310 easily wins .

PS. Nokia's default earphone sucks . So check with some good earphone.

The 5310 is pathetic.It hangs and crashes and wont ast you more than 3 months. I have seen a lot of disatisfied customers.Ask a few. Go for the W350.it simply destroys the competition.

i repeat m looking for best quality music at ears.....3120 is not music xpress i think n plus 5310 out of my budget so no point....dunno if it still got better sound....but m prefering music xpress or walkman....

ps: came across n71....slightly exceeds my budget but is it worth for its music..

^^ If you want best music quality for ears, and if you already have a working mobile phone, go for Creative Zen 4gb (costs around 4k).

else you can go for Zen 2Gb for some 3k and W200i for 4k.

If you think having both player and phone is uncomfortable, get something like Transcend T-Sonic 630 for 2k (2Gig). Dimensions: 73x33x12.5 mm
or Tsonic 650 75x31x13 mm

These two players have excellent sound quality and also have FM, microphone recording and come at dirt cheap price.

1) Nokia 3110 : 4.5k
2) T-sonic 630/650 2Gb for 2k

you will get what you are looking for
if you can extend your busget a bit high you can get excellent k550i having excellent music
qiality and superb camera

if you want great music in a cell phone, Get W810i. yes, it's a little bit old but is an awesome phone. Rigid, autofocus camera, superb audio quality. All for 8k. Not sure if W350i can match this phone in overall quality and features.

k iv finally purchased w350i....its good i wl miss vdo recording though but m ok as i hv a digicam....otherwise cell is good....sleek, cute, awsome sound....decent 1.3mp cam n good interface aswell.....esp for music.....w800 or w810 was costlier here to my budget...thanx for ur responses guys....really appreciate it...

ps: sound is good but i feel it should have more volume esp gets difficult in crowded places....is thr somthing wrong or can i do nethin abt it?

W350 is DB2020 as far as i know.So should be hackable.Let me check still.Yea, it is DB2020.

hey W350 is PNX5230. Not DB2020.
For that phone we have Flashing/Customization.

You can add flash menus, Walkman 2 skins, Visualizations, change fonts, customize menu icons. Etc.

Change acoustics for customized music experience.
But default is great. The volume is exactly set according to high ear safety standards.
