Talking Hurray! Nokia drops prices of cellphones


Hurray! Nokia has dropped prices by 10% for selected models. Steepest cuts have been made 2 music and media phones...

Yes, thatz in the UK..Hopefully Indian market will also b affected after sometime....

SE has increased its market share from 5 2 25% in UK. SE reported a massive 97 per cent slump in its Q2 earnings and may fire around 2,000 employees.

Motorola's market share fell to 9.4 percent in April-June, while Sony Ericsson saw its share declining to 8.2 percent

Nokia increased its market share to 41 percent in the second quarter.

Samsung's market share increased to 15.3 percent in the quarter, while LG's declined to 9.3 percent.

Yea, SE's market shares have gone down for the quarter. But Q4 is expected to boom with the release of more than 15 handsets. Everyone slumps once in a while.

C905 releasing August end. Me getting it as soon as it releases.

And Nokia is releasing touch phones by the end of this year....

And the following excerpt from the text says it all about SE's forecast about the rest of 2008 (One must read the article carefully):
